OUR CAMPUS :
Both SRPS and LVD Colleges are housed in a spacious land measuring 17.5 acres, which has proximity to several housing colonies but away from the din and bustle of the city an ideal locale conducive to teaching -learning activities. Banking and Canteen facilities are also provided. All these and the separate parking facilities for boys and girls and the staff make our Institutions much sought after.
The college has the best and state-of-art infrastructural facilities, modern pedagagocal methods(like audiovisiuals,LCD,computers,internet facilities, etc.,) The limelight of the campus is an air-conditioned big seminar hall with morethan 500 seating capacity to conduct guest lectures and training for the students appearing for various competative entrance examinations, which inturnpavethe wayfor multi-spectral professional courses.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE :
Our College is known for its academic excellence. Ever since inception we have been effectively imparting need-based quality education at affordable fees to the people of this area. The percentage of results at the state level speaks volumes for the quality of education being imparted. That a large number of our students occupy positions of authority in the Administrative and Corporate sectors through the length and breadth of the country and abroad proves to show the sustained efforts being made to make education qualitative and effective. We have been securing ranks the fourth rank, the fifth rank in Medicine and 12th rank in Engineering at CET in 2000-01, 2001-02 and 2008-2009 respectively won for us state recognition. Need-based intensive coaching and remedial courses to the SC/ST and economically weaker sections are being conducted. Each department takes care to conduct seminars. Class tests and preparatory examinations help us assess the strength and weakness of the students. Our staff makes use of Audio-visual gadgets to make their teaching more effective.

OUR LIBRARY :
There is an independent spacious building for the Library with more than 20,000 volumes and a good number of periodicals and journals. Some of the volumes are edited and fore-worded by ‘all-time greats’ like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Einstein, Neils Bohr, Max Plank, Enrico Fermi, Rayleigh, Jeans, and Luis de Broglie. There is a separate reading room too. The Library and the reading rooms are kept open even after the College hours.

OUR LABORATORIES :
The College boasts of excellent, well equipped laboratories in all the science departments that are upgraded periodically. The Computer Science department has two fully air-conditioned laboratories. The Botanical Garden, with some of its rare plants lends colour and charm to the building.

SPORTS FACILITIES :
With a large playground ours is one of the very few Colleges that can boast facilities for Foot ball, Volley ball, Hockey, Kho-Kho, Basket ball and Cricket. For Athletics, a separate 400 meters Track and facilities for other field events is also provided. The facility for indoor games like Shuttle badminton, Table Tennis, Chess etc., are available in the Auditorium. The multi stage Gym in the college helps the students to be fit and healthy.All these have helped our students to earn a name in the field of Games and Sports at the District, the State and the National levels.

CULTURAL ACTIVITIES :
Special guidance from the cultural committee is made available to the students to get trained and to take part in cultural activities which help them to exhibit their hidden talent.
